Little Bird Music Company was created from a deep belief in the power of music to connect people.
I wanted to create something that felt more personal—where families could experience music together in a way that is thoughtful, flexible, and centered on connection. Music is not one-size-fits-all, and I believe it should grow and adapt with each child and family. My goal is to create a space where every child feels included, supported, and able to explore music in their own way.
My passion for this work is deeply personal. Growing up, I saw firsthand the impact music can have. My older brother, who is autistic, experienced many challenges with communication as a child. One of the moments my family still holds close is when he came home one day and, for the first time, sang “You Are My Sunshine.” It was a simple moment, but a powerful one. Music became a bridge for connection in a way words had not yet been.
Watching his journey shaped how I see music and its role in development, connection, and expression.
As I grew older and began teaching, that perspective only deepened. While working as an elementary music teacher, I found a meaningful connection with students of all abilities, especially those in life skills classrooms. Music often created opportunities for connection that didn’t happen in other settings, moments where students could engage, express themselves, and connect with others in ways that felt natural and joyful.
These experiences led me to pursue certification in music therapy so I can continue to better support children through music.
Music is also something my husband and I share. With backgrounds in music education and occupational therapy, we have both seen how music can support children’s development, growth, and engagement. Together, we bring a thoughtful and playful approach to creating experiences where every child can feel successful.
Little Bird Music Company is truly a passion project—one rooted in connection, inclusion, and a genuine love of music. We’re so excited to share that with you and your family.

Our mission is to provide engaging, developmentally appropriate music experiences for infants and toddlers that foster connection, creativity, and early learning.
Through interactive classes that involve both children and their caregivers, the program aims to create a welcoming, supportive environment where families can bond, build community, and experience the joy of music together.
Music is more than a skill, it’s a way to connect, communicate, and grow. We believe every child deserves the opportunity to experience music in a way that feels natural, engaging, and inclusive.
Music is a form of communication that goes beyond words. It allows children to express themselves, connect with others, and experience the world in a meaningful way no matter their age, ability, or background.
Music is a shared experience that brings children and caregivers together.
We create an inclusive space where all children can participate in their own way.
Children learn best when they feel engaged, curious, and free to explore.
We focus on confidence, creativity, and joy —not getting it “right.”
Music supports not only musical development, but also social-emotional growth, communication, and connection.
